The Outward Bound Trust
Volkswagen Group has formed partnership with The Outward Bound Trust to develop our apprentices with the key concepts of collaboration, teamwork, and customer service.
Outward Bound is a week-long residential programme designed to develop the key behaviours related to the customer-centric approach of the Volkswagen Group. During this week the apprentices carry out multiple tasks designed to build confidence, multi-tasking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to develop the behaviours that will impact their customer’s satisfaction at work. This programme has seen some great results in the past, with the analysis showing that 85% of our apprentices have improved their customer awareness, while more than 95% have improved their self-confidence and teamwork capabilities.
